Dolores Urquizo understands that achieving one's dream is fulfilling, but believes it's more important for people to simply have a dream. Her dream? It was to create the perfect blend of interior decorating, home décor, and gifts and put it all together in one very special store. With the opening of Simply Irresistible in November 2004 she succeeded beyond all expectations.

As a young girl, Dolores was constantly re-arranging furniture and accessories in her home to make “things look and work better.” She discovered a knack for decorating early in life. And from that point on she studied, practiced, and refined her decorating skills. It was the foundation of a dream she knew would come true eventually.

But not before she took a position with Ross Perot's Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Dallas . There Dolores discovered a talent for business and organization, earning a reputation among her co-workers as a “can do, get it solved” leader. “You can do anything” people told her. The experience added business savvy to her creative spark and further encouraged her.

When Dolores and her family moved to Cedar Park in 2000 she began offering decorating services out of her home and developing a web-based gift store. Thus the stage was set for the final step…her store.

Today, Simply Irresistible is an amazing and truly distinctive store gaining in popularity for its trendiness and offering some of the best decorating services in this area.
